Yuletide village
In celebration of the winter season, we brought "The Binding of the Bells" to Ohio Renaissance Festival’s Yuletide village.
Guests assembled a keepsake garland of enchanted bells while exploring the snow-covered lanes of this winter wonderland.

The Hobbit
Inspired by “The Hobbit”, this game saw players follow the journey of Thorin and Company across Middle Earth.
For each challenge completed, players attained gemstones that had once adorned the crown of Thrór, King Under the Mountain, aiming to win Thorin’s favor.
One lucky set of adventurers took home the crown at game’s end, after winning the Raffle of Fates.

The Adventure Pack uses dice rolls to make your day at the festival into a random-generated journey!
The Traveler’s Journal brings out the inspiration in our guests, with creative prompts that share the secret stories of festival vendors!
The Main Quest is different each year, with the Meridian Alliance facing new challenges that adventurers must help them unravel.
This year’s installment, The Lost Language of Lianse, explored a world where language was stolen and the world plunged into disorder
when the Orb of Discernment was shattered by the chaos spirit Ritiki.

THe Renaissance faire
Roll Your Destiny returned to the Center of Science and Industry (COSI) in Columbus Ohio for their After Dark: Renaissance Faire event! During this evening full of merriment, a determined sheriff enlisted the help of event guest on his quest to defeat the nefarious Badgerclaw Bandits. An immersive adventure ensued, involving a variety of puzzles - and a good deal of magic! With wit and determination, party guests outsmarted the bandits, and returned home with a share of their stolen treasure.
Roll Your Destiny made an appearance at the Center of Science and Industry (COSI) in Columbus Ohio during their After Dark: Y2K event! Mysterious agents recruited guests for a journey across time, in an effort to disable a doomsday device planted by the nefarious mad scientist Dr. Bile Nary. Thanks to the efforts of our brave new recruits, RYD was able to ring in the new millennium without a hitch.

Countless heroes joined Roll Your Destiny to help restore “The Shroud of Yavannah,” a sacred relic entrusted to the Elves of Lothlorian. Guests journeyed throughout Middle Earth to collect pieces of the artifact, slowly returning the golden shroud to its former power. This experience was made in partnership with Literary Adventures, who transformed downtown Waynesville into Middle Earth!

Roll Your Destiny brought three unique quests to the park for the 2024 season. Guests joined the Meridian Alliance in their quest to decode the “Signals from Tasmata,” our immersive festival-spanning puzzle game. Others were initiated into the Latern Lighter’s Guild, and took up a “Traveler’s Journal” to record the history of our cherished park. If our visitors fancied leaving their day to chance, they picked up an “Adventure Pack,” and let a roll of the dice determine their itinerary for the day.

Roll Your Destiny brought our immersive game “The Spirit of the Shale” to the 2024 Tennessee Renaissance Festival. Thousands of guests traversed beautiful Covington Glen in search of a lost nature Spirit. With their wit, determination and puzzle-solving skills our brave adventures assisted the Meridian Alliance in returning this spirit to the home world of the Shale.
The Ohio Renaissance Festival 2023
Featuring our immersive gaming experience “The Theurgists’ Vault.” Hundreds of guests aided the Meridian Alliance in entering the enchanted vault, claiming their share of the treasure inside.
Countless more walked away with our “Adventure Pack,” which determined each questgoers’ day at the faire by a simple and serendipitous roll of the dice.
Roll Your Destiny’s immersive puzzle game “A Festival of Fae” was featured at Celtic Fest 2023 on the Ohio Renaissance Festival fairegrounds. Hundreds of guests used their wit and determination to appease the faeries, and one lucky winner walked away with our grand prize - a precious Stag Crown from artisan Tread the Terra.
